The European Inferno was a two day event at the National Indoor Arena in Cardiff, Wales. It was the first event of it’s kind and as such the pressure was on to put on a quality event. From the feedback since I can tell you nobody was disappointed, the event went smoothly and the events were fantastic.
Unlike other Crossfit type events this one was all inclusive, with athletes of all standards competing together. This worked fantastically well and the camaraderie was really great to see. Athletes were cheered on to the end and the atmosphere was really fun.
Day one consisted of lifting events to start, followed by running and even fun events such as “the partner carry” (with a kettle bell!). The photos speak for themselves, feel free to click the bottom to take you to the Facebook Gallery where athletes have been tagging themselves and each other!
I am looking forward to being at the event in 2014, I can’t wait to see what they have in store!
